Account and data deletion: see the dedicated deletion request page.

1. App purpose

PhotoMetaGo is a photography workflow app that can receive images from compatible cameras via FTP, apply IPTC/XMP metadata, manage metadata presets, and deliver photographs to destinations selected by the user, including Google Drive and FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers.

2. Data processed on the device

At the user's request, the app may access JPEG photographs, JSON/XMP preset files, photographic metadata and transfer settings. This information is normally processed locally on the device to provide the requested functions.

The current version of PhotoMetaGo does not use developer-operated advertising SDKs, analytics systems or crash-reporting services.

3. Photo transfers

When the user uses DELIVER, PhotoMetaGo transfers selected photographs to a destination configured by the user. Transfers occur only following a user action.

The PhotoMetaGo developer does not receive copies of transferred photographs and does not operate a PhotoMetaGo image-storage server.

4. Google Sign-In, Google Drive and Google user data

PhotoMetaGo uses Google Sign-In to identify the user for free-trial, PRO license and purchase management. Google Drive connection is optional.

For Google Drive, PhotoMetaGo requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope solely to create, upload and manage files used by the app in the Google Drive account authorized by the user.

Google user data obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide visible app features, verify the identity needed for licensing, and manage purchases. It is not sold or used for advertising, profiling or marketing analytics.

Use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Credentials, settings and license data

FTP/FTPS/SFTP settings, Google Drive OAuth tokens, presets and app preferences are stored locally in the app's private storage on the device. The developer does not receive credentials for servers configured by the user.

To manage the free trial, PRO license status and purchases, PhotoMetaGo may associate a technical license profile with the user's Google identity on developer-operated systems. Data may include a technical Google account identifier, an installation/device identifier, trial/license status and dates, and technical information required to verify Google Play purchases. PhotoMetaGo does not use its own password for this profile.

Disconnecting Google Drive removes locally stored authorization tokens. Uninstalling the app removes local app data according to normal Android behavior.

6. File retention

Local photographs remain on the device or in the folder selected by the user until the user deletes them. Files uploaded to Google Drive or FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers remain at the selected destination and are governed by that destination's retention and privacy practices.

7. Account, licensing and data deletion

PhotoMetaGo does not use a standalone username/password system. Sign-in is performed through a Google Account.

Users may request deletion of their PhotoMetaGo profile and associated data at any time through the “Request data/account deletion” function available in the app or by following the instructions on the public account deletion page.

The request results in deletion of data associated with the PhotoMetaGo profile stored on developer-operated systems, except for any information that must be retained for legal obligations, security, or fraud prevention.

Deleting the PhotoMetaGo profile does not delete the user's Google Account and does not automatically cancel any Google Play subscription, which must be managed separately through Google Play.

Local data can be removed by clearing app storage or uninstalling PhotoMetaGo. Google Drive access can be revoked by disconnecting in the app and, if needed, through Google Account security settings. Files already uploaded to Google Drive or FTP/FTPS/SFTP servers must be deleted directly from the destination selected by the user.

8. Sharing and sale

PhotoMetaGo does not sell personal data. Transfers to Google Drive or user-configured servers occur only at the user's request to provide the selected delivery function.

9. Security

PhotoMetaGo limits access to files selected by the user and uses encrypted protocols where available. Communications between the app and authentication/license services use encrypted connections. The security of an FTP/FTPS/SFTP destination also depends on the configuration of the server and network used.

10. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated if app functions, third-party services, legal requirements or Google Play requirements change. The update date will be shown at the top of this page.
